چکیده
Purpose: The study draws on the social network theory to examine influence of interpersonal relations task performance at individual employee, team and divisional levels in Nigerian Police Force.
 Design/methodology/approach: adopted a cross sectional survey design sample 556 police men was selected through application multi-stage sampling procedures. data collection instrument designed line with 5-point Likert scale while validated content validity approach reliability is determined using test-retest method.
 Findings: Data were collected self-report policemen analysis carried out descriptive statistics, run mean test Chi-square results indicated that Practical implications: We recommended instrumental ties communities fabric Force should be promoted further advance critical roles crime fighting prevention view reducing criminality Nigeria. 
 Originality/value: To best authors' knowledge, this research original adds new value field by being first its kind.
